Urgent message from executive director

To all residents,

Coronavirus cases continue to rise in Westmoreland County.

Please let this be a reminder that all residents are required to continue to wear face masks whenever they are out in public and can’t maintain social-distance from others in an effort to slow the resurgence of COVID-19. In addition, ALL visitors, including caregivers, must wear masks.

Residents must wear masks whenever they are in indoor public spaces, waiting for or riding mass transit, and whenever interacting with the public. This also includes outside public space where it is not possible to remain 6 feet away from others.

I want to thank all residents who are cooperating with this mandate during this trying time. Further cooperation with safety protocols is imperative especially as temperatures are turning cooler and residents will be spending more time indoors.

Please do what is right! The virus is real! Protect others including residents, family members and staff, and protect yourself! Regardless of what you think is right or wrong!

Wear masks and social distance!

Your cooperation is needed!
