WCHA again requires facemasks
In an effort to continue to protect the health and safety of our residents and staff, and due to the uptick in the delta variant of COVID-19, all WCHA residents and visitors are required to wear masks when in indoor common areas starting immediately.
In addition, all WCHA property managers, maintenance workers and office staff are required to wear masks any time that they are working indoors. Managers and office staff may remove the masks when alone in their office.
The decision to reinstitute the wearing of masks was made due to increased cases of COVID-19 in Westmoreland County and recommendations from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents wear masks in indoor public settings as an added protection against the more contagious delta variant.
