Groundbreaking held for Willowbrook Commons
Westmoreland County Housing Authority held groundbreaking ceremonies Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, for its newest development Willowbrook Commons.
The four-story, 50-unit senior (62 and older) apartment building in Rostraver Township will be built near Willowbrook Plaza along Route 51 allowing residents to have close access to various stores, restaurants and other opportunities to shop within walking distance.
The project is not to be completed until the fall of 2027. Occupancy applications will likely be accepting in the spring of next year.
