Do YOU want to OWN a HOME?

Westmoreland County Housing Authority (WCHA) has a homeownership program. This program is only offered to Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) participants. Instead of WCHA paying a percentage of your rent, they could pay a percentage of your mortgage.

If you have been employed 30 hours a week for at least one year, you are a good candidate for the homeownership program. If you are interested in this program but are not employed or have not been employed 30 hours a week for one year, you should discuss your homeownership goal with your FSS Case Manager.

If you are not part of the FSS program, you can contact the FSS Coordinator to enroll in the program. The FSS Coordinator, Cheryl Messner, can be contacted at 724-832-7259, ext. 3048.
