WCHA owns and operates 45 housing communities varying from senior hi-rises, apartments, townhouses and single dwelling homes.
WCHA offers educational, recreational, social and wellness activities in many of these communities. WCHA also offers transportation, with wheelchair accessibility, to shopping areas, malls, banks, and grocery stores in targeted communities.

WCHA board to meet
The Westmoreland County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will hold a reorganization meeting on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 12 noon at the Main Office of the Authority, 167 South Greengate Road, Greensburg, PA. A regular meeting will be conducted immediately afterwards for general purposes.
WCHA offices to close for the holidays
Westmoreland County Housing Authority (WCHA) offices will be closed Thursday, December 25, 2025, for Christmas. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2025. WCHA offices will also be closed Thursday, January 1, 2026, for New Year’s Day. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2026.
Church View Senior Residences awarded $1.25 million grant
