WCHA Weatherization offering free energy-saving home improvements
Your home may qualify for free energy-saving improvements through the Westmoreland County Housing Authority (WCHA) Weatherization Program.
The WCHA program helps eligible households make their homes more energy efficient, comfortable, and affordable to heat and cold.
Depending on your home and eligibility, Weatherization services may include:
- Insulation improvements
- Air sealing and weather-stripping
- Heating system services or repairs
- Energy-saving home improvements
- Other measures designed to improve your home’s energy efficiency.
Homeowners and renters may be eligible.
PLEASE NOTE: Roofing is not covered. Roof repairs or roof replacements are not eligible for Weatherization services.
